Brambles Bakery & Cafe was born from a love for baking, the desire to create a meeting place that serves delicious food, and granny’s famous sticky buns recipe. Together, Sarah Molnar and her mother and business partner Dorothy, launched the business in 2009 and have been feeding locals and travellers alike ever since.
From humble beginnings with only two different sandwiches, to an eclectic menu with gluten-free and even vegan options, delicious food served in a comfortable, social meeting place has always been at the centre of our dream, and it still is.
Under Sarah’s and Dorothy’s leadership, we follow a socially responsible and quality oriented philosophy. A creative menu reflects our commitment to quality and our values shine through both in our support of the local community as well as our choice of business partners.
All our food is homemade and we are especially proud of consciously using up all ingredients and not producing any waste–bones are used for soup stock, scraps are set aside for the chickens and coffee grinds are used for compost in our staff’s gardens!
Our staff is another important part of what makes Brambles so unique. We’re very proud of our dedicated, creative and fun team and with their input, we continue down our path of fresh and delicious food in a great atmosphere.
